March saying...

(1/1)

Weather Spares:
In the UK we have a saying about March weather, which so far has held good this year.

March comes in like a Lion and goes out like a Lamb.

UK has been a bit wet and windy so far, with more today and tonight - will it be leaving like a lamb with settled fine weather; only time will tell.

Farmtalk:
March has definitely been a lion in West Virginia, with 2 confirmed tornadoes so far; two days ago the high was around 35, todays forcasted high was 71!

xykotik:
We have a similar saying around here (in my sig)

"March comes in like a lion and goes out like a wet lion."

Rascal:
"Springtime in Seattle...  March comes in like a lion and out like a wet lion."

More like a cold, wet lion.

LOL, I live in Seattle and I say we have 4 seasons. Summer is July and August. Fall is September and October. Winter is November to March. April to June is Disappointment.

Farmtalk:
Hey you got to find the advantages in each season!

I look at my seasons as this:

December-February: Relax time, catch on sleep, indoor projects
March-May: Garden time, get some fresh air, lose some weight
June-August: Eat outside, crawdad time, outdoor projects
September-November: Get organized for school, hunting, fresh crisp air
January-December: Weather stuff 8-)
January-December: Enjoy life  :-)
