My Davis IP-logger stopped working a few months ago and I replaced it with a far less expensive Meteobridge-Nano logger.
As a logger, the Nano has the same functionality as a Davis IP-logger including access for a weather-program to access through its ip address-port 22222.
I can now continue to upload to WeatherLink.com by using the DID and KEY from the sticker on the broken IP-logger.

But the Nano also has all the Metebridge-program functionality, including uploads to numerous weather-websites and it is supported by all website templates.

If your IP-logger ever fails you can have the exact functionality and a lot more for less money.

Wim

P.S.  Current prices in the Netherlands (including V.A.Tax):
Davis IP-logger on sale  280€, the Nano 195€  or the Nano-SD 260€

Is it correct that the standard meteobridge is unable to send data to Davis weatherlink?

All Meteobridges with an "attached" Davis station can upload to WeatherLink.com, but in most cases you need to have a logger also.
So in my case, a replacement for the broken IP-logger, it was less expensive to switch to the nano logger.

With David logger installed, is it the Davis logger that's uploading to weather link or the MB?

Also does this require an attached computer running weatherlink software 24/7?

The MB (from version 4.2)  is able to upload to the WL Cloud.  No PC needed.

Your USB/Serial logger can not do that on its own, never was able to do that.
Your WeatherLink PC-program could do that also, but you need the PC running 24/7.

Is there a guide or instructions on how to do this?

Thank you

The Meteobridge forum announcement is here => https://forum.meteohub.de/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=14428

It works the same as uploads  to the other cloud companies.
