I noticed overnight that the CWOP data was missing from various sites. This included CWOP-numbered stations and Ham callsign based APRS stations.

Both findu and aprs.fi indicated missing data from the afternoon on 4 Sept to early this morning 5 Sept.

The data gap was the same on CW4114, FW1095, KE8DAF-13, W8WLC-13 and W8WLC-15. Data was good on other web resources (WLL, etc.)

Anyone know what happened? aprs.fi seems sluggish loading this morning, but findu.com is OK.

Seems to have been backbone APRS network outage. Sometimes the typical outage is only on CWOP or APRS Internet servers, but this seems to have affected everything including APRS radio gateways.
