Title: Barometric Pressure worked and then it didn't
Post by: Bob3rd on February 16, 2016, 04:09:29 PM
I installed my Bloomsky station a few days ago.  It doesn't seem to be the most accurate but it is pretty good and the daily time-lapse videos are neat.  It interfaces with IFTT which opens a lot of possibilities too.  My barometric pressure readings worked for a couple of days and then stopped.  The pressure is now reported as constant.  Any ideas as how to get it working again?

My station is at https://map.bloomsky.com/weather-stations/eaB1rJytnpS4qami

Hi Bob

There is a problem with the Bloomsky pressure where all stations seem to be reporting some sort of sea level pressure with no offset.  Bloomsky is aware and hopefully it will be fixed in a future update to the app.

When you say it was working then stopped, do you mean no rise of fall...?

One thing Bloomsky support suggested when a UV sensor appeared to hang up was to power the device on/off.  You may want to try that before calling them.

Yes. No rise and fall.  It rose and fell for a couple of days and then just "stuck" at the highest reading.

Bloomsky is replacing my unit due to defective pressure sensor.
