Just spent a couple of hours reviewing Ambient Weather's online parts catalog.
FWIW, the WS-2000 rain funnel (i.e., WS-2902-FUNNEL) goes for $11.49 US while the WS-5000 rain funnel (i.e., WS-5000-FUNNEL) goes for $14.99 US.
If you buy the Bird Spike Kit (i.e., WS-2902-RAINSPIKE) along with a WS-2902-FUNNEL or a WS-2000, it will cost $6.99, but $14.99 if purchased separately.
Interestingly both the WS-2902-FUNNEL and the WS-5000-FUNNEL also offer a discount should you also need a coil filter (i.e., WS-5000-RAIN-COIL) for $2.50 US, the separate price for which is $8.99 US. Strangely a discount price for the WS-5000-RAINSPIKE is only offered along with a WS-5000 order, but not with a WS-5000-FUNNEL order.
I noticed that the bundled price when purchased with a WS-2000 or WS-5000 for a PM25 or PM25IN went from $45.39 to $52.00 US within the last week or two. Purchased separately the price for both remained at $65.00 US. Looks like this bundled price is only available for one PM25 and one PM25IN as there is no count field for either of them.
Not sure what is going on with Ambient's 8 channel Temperature, Humidity Sensor though. Both the WS-2000 and WS-5000 configurator pages have switched over from the WH31B to the WH31E while retaining a discount price of $9.00 US. Bought separately they have individual list prices of $18.79 and $19.39 respectively and volume discount prices of $9.50 ea and $10.00 ea. The WH41E includes Radio Controlled Clock (RCC) receiver for the WS-3000, which of course isn't needed by the WS-2000 or WS-5000 AFAICT. Is the WH31B being discontinued, or was the substitution made because the WH31B is currently out of stock? This situation doesn't currently impact the WS-5000 as it is also back in Out of Stock status. The WS-5000 must be selling like hot cakes!
