Truncated weather readings since April 15
« on: April 20, 2021, 04:10:27 PM »
Has anyone started getting gaps in sensor readings such as wind speed, wind direction, etc? Started on the 15th. I'm feeding WU through Cumulus MX. PWS and Cumulus MX data is complete and does not show the gaps.

Had a gap of 2+ hours today. Haven't noticed on other days lately.

I've given up on them ever getting things straightened out.

Even worse today. The entire network is down. Nothing on my dashboard is updating. No old or laggy data. Just nothing. I just watched all the stations disappear from the map. Figures there's interesting weather in the northeast today. My Meteobridge does say it is uploading to Weather Underground just fine fwiw.

But it doesn't seem pervasive with PWS users. How are you pushing to WU? I'm using Cumulus MX on a dedicated windows box, and a Davis Vantage Pro2

WU stations were offline today but are now back on, at least here in Mass.

The only thing you can rely on WU anymore is for them to be unreliable.

Hopefully the downtime was indicative and a fix put in place. I've got five days of spotty day. Have to watch it closely the remainder of the day. Thanks.

Anddddddd...that didn't last long. Weather hasn't updated in 50 minutes. All other sites are getting the data just fine. Damned WU...

In general, it looks like I get 3 hours of readings, one hour of downtime, then rinse and repeat. It doesn't follow this pattern 100% but the last five days is mostly along those lines. Odd...
