Well, numbers 2 and 3 didn't take long to develop. There's on in Cleveland, TN (about 30 miles southeast of here) and one in Athens, TN (about 15 southeast of here). Is it March again???? This is more like a spring storm.

You bet it is!! Not like fall at all really

Yeah, ok here. :) It fizzled out just when it got here. More storms in the area, though. And the sky and everything outside is orange. :-k I figure it's the way the sun is coming through the clouds. But it's been an interesting day!

So it was just another lame storm here in the Barberton, Akron. Portage Lake ohio. Had a peak gust of 37 mph at 2:02pm. We have had stronger breezes and stronger popup thunderstorm. If the electric don't go out at work what is the point?

On a lighter note, we have three tv stations from Chattanooga. All three stations have had the weatherman on nearly constantly since 4:00 this afternoon. No local or national news and now no Wheel of Fortune. They all got to play with their neat toys for a long time today! =D>

I am glad that you are all ok after this day of thrills!! It was a nerve-wracking day at times. I am glad that the forum allows me to see what you are experiencing as well as what is happening here. I hope you all have a quiet night.

The heavy stuff rolled through here at 70 mph. Highest gusts here at home were in the low 40's. I was out on the job in a pickup truck and punched through the squall line between Logan and Sugar Groove heading back to the shop. Could barely see beyond the hood for a good 10 miles before it started to let up.

Passed a couple UPS drivers running double trailers through it. I'm sure they had a barrel of fun on the road today. #-o

That sounds very much like the situation we had yesterday morning here.
So far we have been by passed by the action. Seems the worst of it is east and south of us. But we still have an hour or so left in the TOR watch

Only a 44 MPH gust here, but a 79 MPH gust was measured about 5 to 10 miles north of me - don't mind missing that.

0.74" rainfall finally put a small dent in our 8" rainfall deficit - every little bit helps.

Local news said the barometric pressure for the low up north is lower than the last 4 hurricanes.
