Saratoga-weather standalone scripts now also on GitHub
« on: May 04, 2019, 01:22:11 PM »
Ok, I'm a little late to the party, as all the cool kids are open-sourcing software on GitHub now.

So.. I've started porting my scripts for Standalone use to be distributed (under GPLv3 license) on GitHub.com

https://github.com/ktrue is my main page.

Each script has it's own repository, so it should be easy to track future changes using GitHub

As of 4-May-2019, I have 14 repositories up with more to follow.  I'll continue to package and offer the standalone scripts on my website with parallel updates on GitHub.  The Saratoga template sets are only on my site right now (have to figure out a good mechanism to use GitHub to work well with the installed template sets).

For folks using the Saratoga templates, the update tool is still the easiest way to get updates after using check-fetch-times.php?show=versions on your site.
