I really would love to see the Weather community just ditch WU altogether and help IBM put it out of its misery. There are far better online services that just work for weather enthusiasts without any of the hassle that WU is provided us over the years.Well 99% of Acurite pws users are locked into WU. And that's a lot of people. Is Acurite ever going to allow their customers to use the other weather upload sites by opening up their protocols? They've been stubborn to this day. Maybe a deteriorating WU will get them to change their policy.

I find it funny ( and sad ) that after all the IBM servers went down and came back up that WU has worked perfect since then . So all there lies about what the problem was for not updating properly for the last months could have been resolved with a simple reboot . Someone should teach IBM about the old CTR- ALT-Delete function
Wundermap is now showing COVID-19 cases by county, so I don't think WU is ready to go away.
WU stopped updating my station about an hour ago (0855 EDT). I see just a few stations in my area so I guess I'm not alone.
Apparently they went off line at about 7:10PM EDT and came back on line at about 10:30PM EDT last night. Such dependability from the IBM "cloud", or is that mud?
