Not even the good, old, "Brutus" excuse is posted.  RIP WU.

... and it isn't as if the Weather Channel (which owns WU) has anything to say about it on their support website, which sports a WU icon, nor does WU say anything about it on their Twitter site.

It's back, as of a few minutes ago. What a PIA. Actually, it seems to have totally cratered, and all stations were lost. I'm looking at the map, watching it very slowly get repopulated with stations. Many stations not shown are reading as "offline".

My data stopped at 0915 local (23:15 GMT, TuesdayJune 9).
I can still access my profile and edit the station.
Strangely enough, I can access several PWS around Sydney Airport,
https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/ISYDNE876?cm_ven=localwx_pwsdash
So, some stations are still online and reporting.
Maybe just a WU server/database problem??

As of now, only about one in ten of the stations in my neighborhood are showing up. Everyone else is "offline".
I am floored that WU can't even report an outage like this on their Twitter page. Support? Who, us??

IBM owns WU and The Weather Company and I suspect they'd rather not admit the first one, which explains the lack of "cross pollination".  This utter lack of concern appears to be permanent and it won't change.

Mine stopped at the same time (08:45 Adelaide Time), but my skycam was still updating at 11:08 local (now 11:30 local). If their previous efforts are any indication, they appear to develop modifications on the live system, rather than a copy in a sandpit.

I wouldn't have know, except for this thread, as I rarely look at WU these days.

Except, as I said, the WU icon is prominently displayed on their support page. If they'd rather not admit it, they sure screwed it up.

I thought it was just me but after rebooting and re-opening my WeatherLink no dice. You would think that after 3 hours they could send some sort of message or post something on the web site but who am I kidding. If WU is truly dead I'm not going to send flowers to IBM. So tired of things spinning further down the drain over the past 15 years or so.

My station page is back up and running. Only lost data between 9:37 PM (0137 UTC) and 10:22 PM (0222 UTC).

Back from the dead...lost over three hours of data.  Typical IBM.  I really don't know why anyone uses them for anything these days.

Outage was smaller here but I resent it through the VWS interface and I was surprised how quickly the WU site posted it. I hate to say it but yeah IBM hasn't gotten it right have they for us PWS folks.

Yep have to agree.  I really would love to see the Weather community just ditch WU altogether and help IBM put it out of its misery.  There are far better online services that just work for weather enthusiasts without any of the hassle that WU is provided us over the years.
