Lost connection of Weather Link live and will not reconnect.  I tried removing batteries and reinstalling batteries and power and it still does not connect.   One change today is I installed new windows and doors today and not long after that it stopped working.

Anyone else have problems with the Davis WeatherLink 6100 not updating data?   It will update once a minute for 3 to 5 hours and then stops updating for several hours.   It must be a hardware problem.  It lasted for more than 4 years though.   I also have the  Davis WeatherLink 6313 console which updates every minute continually without update problems.

Is there a window between the Weather Link Live and the station?  Did you install low e glass?

Then new door is very expensive impact resistant glass door between the 6100 hardware and outdoor sensors.   There is no data loss so far when it updates.   The Davis WeatherLink 6313 console updates very minute so I believe there is problem with the 6100 hardware.  It is possible it might have been dropped on floor or damaged.

But if it is metallic coated glass then it may well be attenuating any transmitter signal that is in the direct signal path. Of course if you think that the WLL might really have been accidentally damaged then all bets are off.

I have three old Vantage Pro 2 consoles and new 6313 console in the same area and they do not seem effected by this change.  I checked the diagnostics for the old consoles and it is about the same now compared to before the changes.

A shot in the dark... Anytime I have a problem with a wifi device regardless of whether or not every other wifi device in my network is working properly - I reboot the router straight away.

I bought a new Davis WeatherLink 6100 and cannot connect to internet.  How to set up the new replacement 6100 hardware?

I have connected the new Weatherlink 6100 and it is updating!  I want to thank all of you for your help.
