Topic: Uploading Weather Station Data to Windy.com

Hi there,

I have an Ambient Weather WS-5000 weather station and I am looking to upload my station’s data to Windy.com (and the Windy app). However, I am not sure how to do so. Can this be done using the “Customized” server upload page on the awnet app, and has anyone else successfully done this before? Any help would be much appreciated.

This is a good read. I registered my station and created the API key but I haven't found a way to insert it in my Ambient Weather station.
Basically I'm already reporting to CWOP so Windy gets my data via MADIS

That’s interesting, thank you. However, I’m not sure what to use the API key for. I’m assuming that’s the part that you insert into this “https://stations.windy.com/pws/update/API-KEY” URL as mentioned by the discussion page you sent me, but I don’t know what to do from there. Do I insert that URL in the “Path” box on the “Customized” server upload page and go from there?

Sorry for my confusion, I am not too great with computers.

For AW PWS: You can send your weather data to CWOP. https://ambientcwop.com/

CWOP send your data to many places, Windy is one of those places. You just have to fine your weather data by using the search box and enter your FWxxxx number.
