Batch file to automatically open WL if it closes
« on: February 15, 2020, 01:08:21 PM »
Hi,

To cut a long story short I'm having issues with my WL PC software closing down for no obvious reason (once a week maybe). I'm trying to get to the route cause of the problem but in the meantime I'm told that a 'batch' file may be the solution.........apparently, this solution reopens the WL software as soon as the PC closes it down. The below was a solution on another post to a person with a similar issue

'We run a batch file that checks and relaunches WL if it hangs/closes itself every X minutes'.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, or even email me the 'batch' file with instructions ??

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the software?  In regards to restarting a crashed program,  try searching for "windows 10 restart program on crash".
