Tropical Storm Richard

Tropical Storm Richard, the seventeenth named storm of the season, continues to move very slowly in the western Caribbean.

In the near term, the system will be a heavy rain and flood threat in Jamaica. 

Richard could become our tenth hurricane of the season as it makes a turn northwestward towards the Yucatan Peninsula over the weekend.

Hopefully we could get a little rain here in Louisiana as it goes over towards Florida.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like it's coming to Florida. Not that I want a hurricane but we really need some rain.
Models are pretty much taking it to CA where it dies.
Of course you never know with the tropics though.
