My site http://newmiddletownweather.com was working fine I didn't touch it but now seems to have stop updating. I checked WD and FTP seems to be uploading fine. Not sure where to start. WD, The Templetes, or My Web Host.

shows that WD is not uploading the testtags.php

Check in the W/webfiles folders
==> if there is a testtags.txt (which WD uses to build the testtags.php)
==> and what the date-times are of those files

Check your webserver what the data-time is of the testtags.php there

Please check the testtags.txt  contents
Does it contains the %xvxvxv% tags or is it a exact copy of the contents of testtags.php ?

Check:
The testtags.txt in the WD folder only contains %xxxxx% values
The testtags.php in the WD folder has old data   from Jan 21
If both "yes" then WD is in error, needs restarting?

Check 2:
The testtags.txt in the WD folder has %xxxxx%
The testtags.php in the WD folder has correct data   from today

The filetime of http://newmiddletownweather.com/testtags.php is from today

If all four is "yes" then ?????

I assume another person is needed.

As none of the data-files on oyur website is current http://newmiddletownweather.com/wxstatus.php  this seems more complex tyhan a mis-communication between Wd and your server

Also the status shows
Weather-Display FTP   NOT Current   273:11:22   > 0:05:15   Sat, 23-Jan-2021 2:50am EST
Weather-Display weather data   NOT Current   273:11:59   > 0:05:15  Sat, 23-Jan-2021 2:50am EST

It tells us that the testtags.php contents is from Jan 23 and the file itself is also from Jan 23.

Are you sure you are looking to the correct files for newmiddletownweather.com?
Maybe you are looking to a different website.

Did you use your FTP program to newmiddletownweather.com and did you look into the testtags.php with the correct filetime of today?
Did it contain data of today?

The only current data on this site is

Yes that's what I did. The file testtags.php is there with the correct date and contains current data. Like I said I didn't change anything it just stopped working. I wonder if the webhost changed something they switched from cpanel to something else just recently.

That is checked by  http://newmiddletownweather.com/check-fetch-times.php?show=wx

Probably you, your WD program and your FTP program are looking at totally different sites.
When going from and very old site to a new cPanel website all your FTP settings are changed.
Your site is nearly always moved to another server by the provider. Probably the IP-address changes also.

Contact support at your provider and ask the current  FTP settings.
Maybe you can find them yourself at the cPanel pages also.

Compare those settings with the ones you use in WD and your FTP program.

I got it! Wow it all started on the 23 thats when siteground moved away from cpanel to something else...well what the did was separate all the sites under your account I use to log in on my main site and all my other websites were in a directory under that...what else they did was not move ftp accounts that you had set up to the sites under your main account...so yes you were right i was logging into the main account and WD was logging into another that wasn't there. Yikes! Thanks for all your help!
