Can anyone help? Is there a file path needed in the FPT upload (send) in VWS? Mine is blank!!! Someone else had the problem with VWS images overlaying on the image on wunderground, but no one seemed to be able to help. Any help at all would be wonderful....

Not sure what you are asking.  Can you give an example, perhaps a URL.

This is the page I am working on. http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KINASHLE2 ... Camera downloads picture and then is overlaid with images of VWS. Cam only downloads every so often. If you watch a time lapse of my cam you will see what I mean. Feel like I have something set up wrong. Just not sure what it could be.

Thanks for any help or suggestions you might have.

Note I had set up cam settings on VWS before installing salsa....

It looks like you have put your WU ftp site (webcam.wunderground.com ) and login credetials into VWS ftp setup screens.  So you cam uploads an image, then vws ovewrites it.  Just remove it from VWS and all will be well.  The ftp settings in VWS are supposed to be for a personal web site.

Okay I have the internet settings cleared on VWS but I noticed in VWS settings, jpeg file settings there is a flie path C:\vws\root that I can not remove. I have tried to even rest scheduler to not update. But still have not had any success. Bewildered but not giving up. Any other ideas?

That is the proper local path...  Its still creates the jpgs based on the timer, whether you ftp them anywhere.   These images are used in the VWS desktop display.

Sorry, I thought you meant earlier that you fixed the ftp stuff, but were just asking about the ftp files.
Wiping ftp settings should have resolved your issue.

Goto Internet- JPG FTP settings - then click FTP Automated Schedule. change to "no update Scheduled"

Right now WU shows a snowy picture of a field with a house on the left, "demo edition" watermark.  Is that your web cam, or VWS doing that?

I rolled your video, I can see random VWS jpg's in last 24 hours. How are you loading your webcam?  Fling? other auto-ftp, or Ip cam?

I dont see if you have blanked your ftp settings in VWS, and as an extra changed your upload sched to NO, that VWS could be doing this.   Very strange.
