Started snowing a week ago here and every day has been some more.
Apparently it was a record breaking amount for November, and December won't let up for a few days yet although the intense easterly feed is rather cut off after today.
We may see some daytime thawing.

Feeding some cattle in the wintry sunshine.

Here's a short video clip of snow blowing on our only bad weather access road.

We had our first snow of the year on Wednesday 1 Dec.  It was <0.25".  On 1 Dec 2007 we had the first snow of that year.  I don't have written down in my weather diary how much Embarassed Embarassed.  It seemed like it was just waiting for November to be over.  From the looks of the 1000mb-500mb thicknes forecasts any precip we have in the next couple weeks will be in the form of snow, but that can change quickly.

Neat pic, first snow is coming today.  Nothing like that thankfully.  That picture also makes me very thankful we are just corn farmers with no livestock. lol

It's melted quite rapidly over the last two days and some green is showing, well about 50%.
Another cold spell threatens in 4 or 5 days time though.
Those cattle can come in now so easier feeding routine.

From the video looks like you could have used a snow fence along the access road that day.   Very Happy
