Got some good weather coming in! Under a Tornado Watch until 1 pm and they've just issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for a couple of counties just to our west. Love it!

Steve, I'm watching your site because you're upstream from me. I'm still at 0.00" rainfall at Coop/CoCoRaHS obs time this morning. I wish I could go out and adjust the wx eqpt in the rain and not have to worry about lightning and tornadoes. Be safe. -Al

It's good to get some rain (although most of it has just ran off because it came down so fast). I was sleeping very well until that weather radio went off.

We are right in the slight risk area for tonight. Too bad it looks to be an overnight thing.

We ended up with 2.07 inches out of the storm. We had been averaging 0.1 inch/week for the past two months, so this is sorely needed. I had hoped I had mowed the yard for the last time this year, but it will probably grow now.

Looks like another band is heading this way. I think these are rogue storms after the low and front have come through. Oh well, after this morning it was too wet to do much outside today anyway.

Just how low will the pressure go? Looking at some of the maps on the tv, it looked like the storm actually had an eye north east of the twin cities. wow!

I'm starting to see a lot of discrete cells popping up in the southeast and moving rapidly NE. It kinda worries me when I see that. They've issued a Tornado Watch for North Georgia and I expect to see it further south toward our direction within an hour.

We did not end up getting much of anything from the front side of the storm here. Expected high winds, tstorms last night, but it never came. Pressure still high, but under a wind warning today. 60-90km (37-55mph).... always happens on garbage day. it'll be a blue bin debris field on way home tonight.

We STILL haven't gotten anything. The front is stalled just to our NW and has been since yesterday. The LOW temp this morning has been 71 degrees with a dewpoint of 68 and breezy winds. Feels like Florida at the beach. It's suppose to sag south today, I'm hoping it will sag slowly so we finally get some rain. http://www.daculaweather.com/ridge_georgia_master.php
