Although it looks like I may be getting a used Stardot in the next few weeks I came across this little baby and it has REALLY caught my eye. Price is not bad for what you get either. May be the answer to both of my camera needs. They sell for around $650 without the lenses.

Anybody have any experience with the Arecont brand?

Really interesting.  That .02Lux compares to the Toshiba 1K-WB11A which can practically see in the dark.

Exactly. I had the 11A and it was a wonderful camera. Both a VERY good daylight image and PHENOMENAL nigh time performance.

The price took my breath away.  And I noticed it did not include shipping, sales tax or the divorce lawyer.  I have a couple of SVAT cameras with infrared LEDs and IR LED arrays as supplimental lighting.  Alas, while I like the cameras a lot they are nothing like this.

I have looked at that camera also. Looks very interesting but I can't find any reviews or users. Please post a review if you get one. ARECONT AV3135
