I just checked my wunderground history page and found no data for the last 6 days. WUHU is showing that it is sending it but it is not showing up. Also tried letting VWS send it but still a no show. Any ideas?

It looks like it stopped around the 20th.

Did anything change back then?

If the upload is not successful, you should see something in the WUHU log.

You can also un-check "Errors only" in the log screen to view the upload and the response from the WU server.

If there are no upload errors, WU should probably be contacted.

Try rebooting your pc/vws and send it again. Be sure that your WU username and pass work are entered or elce it won't go thru. Wouldn't hurt to check cables/connections as well. hope it works.

If you are running the version with all the WU configuration on the main screen, make sure that the little check box in the right hand corner of the WU configuration data is checked, that is what enables uploads.

If you are running the latest version, click Setup, the WU tab, and there is a check box there labeled 'Enable Uploads'.

Let me know if this check box was un-checked.

The check box is checked. I also closed all programs and restarted them. Error showing now is

Final Fatal Error(No more retries) internetopenUrl returned error 0x00000002 (2), system cannot find the file specified.

1) Can you launch a browser and browse the Internet on that machine? If the machine is in "offline" mode this may happen. Launching a browser may correct.

2) Perhaps the software firewall is blocking this application for accessing the Internet? Usually this is under and Advanced setting called Program Controls or something to that effect.

Advice I have found on this error on other pages:

2) The second one is a longer shot because you force a reload. The browser cache may be damaged with the index no longer matching the content. Explaining a "file not found" result. This would not be uncommon when the user runs some kind of crummy cleaner tool. Just deleting the files from the cache directories is easy but updating the index is not since it is almost always locked. Easy to test if this theory is correct, just ask the user to empty the cache through Control Panel's Internet Options applet.

3) Given this info, I would guess these users have a firewall (or some type of security software) that has hooked wininet and is interfering with your call. Alternatively, they may have malware infestation.

4) One other WUWU user reported this issue. They wrote: "I installed spybot search and destroy amd ran the immunization tool. Now everything works just fine. I'm not exactly clear what this all means. Pete" http://tech.dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/wuhu_software_group/message/15041
