A little tip I am trying out is when I pull one of my solar panels apart I apply a thin coating of swimming pool equipment grease to the o ring  seal and the grommet where the cable from the sensor passes thru the wall of the panel.  This should keep the o ring and grommet pliable and make disassembly easier next time.
