Right now we're at a little over 32% of normal for the season, or almost 68% behind. I've never seen anything like it, but I guess that's why they say it hasn't happened since 1895 at least. It just figures that I installed a California native landscape last year with the hopes of practically eliminating my use of imported water to irrigate exotic plants. Now I have to water just to keep the young plants alive long enough to get established.
