Can anyone give a good opinion on the differences and value of these two weather stations?

Thanks,

If you note, the Ambient WS-1080 is out of stock and has been for sometime. As far as I know there is not a firm available date.

I called about 10 days ago and was told approximately 2 weeks till they have more available.  That's why I am trying to get some info on the two as well as others.  Would sure like to get one, but don't want to be disappointed with purchase when I find out later I could have gotten a better/more efficient/more reliable/etc. weather station.  I love the internet for research of this type and this forum is a wealth of information.

Thanks to everyone for their input!

I have the same question.  Is the 2080 the newer model, or is the 1080 the newer model??

Thanks
