Another tornado has touched down in Sandusky County this afternoon Shocked! This came out of the blue with no watch.  There is some good video of the tornado on TV and will try to post it as soon as I can, if I can. There does not appear to be any inuries or major damage.
This is really strange!!  This is the second confirmed tornado in the last 4 days in the same area. I do hope this trend does not continue Anxious Anxious Pray

Very strange indeed.  There was so rotation detected.  If there wasn't dozens of eye witnesses, pictures, and trained spotters no one would believe it.  Hopefully no one got hurt.  Pray

I agree.  And thank goodnes for the  video they have been showing on WTOL 11! It is really amazing, for around here.  They have a picture on their website but it shows the storm before it touches down.  We don't need anymore of this stuff!!!

In an environment with little convection but quite a bit of shear, this can happen. CAPE values are low to non-existent in that region right now, but wind shear is quite high.

And since these are likely not elevated storms, I'm guessing strength is about EF0 to EF1....doesn't diminish the fact they are tornadoes, but everything they're saying about yesterday's Oklahoma outbreak is that a lot of the reported storms here were in the EF3 to EF4 category.

Batten 'em down.

I was just talking to a girl in Clyde, OH and they don't care anything about EF0 or EF1.  The pictures of the tornado that touched down in that area was impressive.  This is one of the better ones.  Looks scary enough to me.  Yikes

I was watching the coverage of that too tonight, I guess the clyde area got hit again with storms. They can't seem to catch a break.  Brick wall  I was tracking a line on WU's radar that had a mesocyclone that was coming right towards us but only got a 6 mph gust and .18 inches of rain out of it. The forcast calls for more clouds and rain this week. I'm trying to grow some grass but I keep having to cover it up with a tarp so the seedlings don't drown. I'll be lucky if I get a single blade.  Mad
