This is the error message I'm seeing as I type this.  The script can't find the "night_mostly_sunny.jpeg" file.  I am curious as to why it's looking for a "mostly sunny" graphic more than an hour or so after dusk.  Is VWS on your system updating okay?

BTW... you'll probably wonder why your sticker doesn't work on this forum.  Find your .htaccess file and add this line:

Redirect /sig.gif http://www.wxbeacon.com/sticker.php?type=banner_big

and then use code something like this for your signature:

Thanks, Kevin. That might be what was causing the stickerproblem. Despite having the sticker on my site for what, 5 months now?, it still sometimes wants an icon that doesn't exsist, so I've been tweaking the sticker.php file as I encounter those issues.

Is VWS on your system updating okay?

Yep. VWS was even ftp-ing the sticker's data.txt file at the time the sticker "crashed". The sticker was working again as of about 12:10 last night.

Yes, which is why I was working on my sticker. When it quit working for about an hour last night, I was afraid I messed something up.

Speaking of Kevins: I attended my something-th high school reunion two weeks ago and was surprised again at the number of Kevins in my class. It was the most common male name in the class. One out of ten males in my class was named Kevin. One guy said, "My parents told me they named me Kevin because it was an uncommon name."
