I just updated my Virtual Weather Station to V14.01 P22 and can no longer get it to work with VirtualVP.
I have VWS connected to virtual port 16 and WeatherLink 5.9.2 connected to virtual port 17. VirtualVP is communicating fine with my Davis Vantage Pro2 and WeatherLink but will not communicate with my new version of VWS.
The VirtualVP activity log keeps jumping from "Sent response for Wake Up Console" to "Sent response for Get Station Info" to "Sent Response for Unknown Command" to "Sent Response for Get Firmware Number" but never transfers any information.
I can however, get my new version of VWS to work fine by itself (no VirtualVP or WeatherLink running).
Anyone else have this problem? Did they purposely make V14.01 P22 not compatible with VirtualVP?
Any help would be very appreciated!
Thanks, Mike

So far V14.01p22 is working OK for me using Virtual VP for the last 2 days. However, I did have VWS crash once yesterday for an unknown reason with no reason showing in the logs of VWS or Windows.
What version of Virtual VP and console firmware are you using?
There was mention in another thread about someone updating the console firmware then unable to get the most current version of WeatherLink (5.9.2) to run using Virtual VP. I'm still running 2001 firmware in the console and seem have no problem with 5.9.2 so far.

I have the latest console firmware version 1.90 and I am using the latest version of Virtual VP version 1.2.3.69.. The strange part is that I updated the console firmware about a month ago and have been using it flawlessly with Virtual VP until last night. The problem only started after I upgraded VWS to V14.01 P22 last night. So it seems to be a problem with VWS and Virtual VP and not the Vantage PRO2 firmware. Any ideas? Tinplate, the author of VPlive, was part of that thread, and is aware of the problem search for posts by him

Are you talking about this thread: http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=7605.0Tinplate did not post anything in this thread, but its the ony thread I can find about loop2.. After further examination it I looks like VWS and Weatherlink will not upload any data while using VirtualVP and the new Davis firmware 1.90. They both work fine without VirtualVP. However, I need the VirtualVP software to use them both at the same time Do anyone know of a fix for this or is there anyway to roll back the firmware upgrade? I don't know about rolling back the firmware to a previous version but there is an option in VWS to allow Weather link to run intermittently per a user adjustable schedule to keep it's records up to date. Depending on your WeatherLink usage might be a workaround until Steve gets the issue sorted out.

Well after some troubleshooting I have found out the following using Davis Vantage Pro 2 with the newest Firmware 1.90 with Virtual VP:
When using the new VWS 14.01 P22, I can not download any information from the Vantage Pro2 console while using Virtual VP .
When using the new Weatherlink 5.9.2, I could not get the APRS / CWOP data to upload while using Virtual VP.
In both cases I had to revert back to the old software to get them to work. Back to VWS 14.00 and Weatherlink 5.8.3.

My intermittent issues with VWS V14.01p22 continued so tonight I backed up to v14.00p101. Not sure whether it was VVP or VWS issue but don't have time right now to troubleshoot it.

make sure you are using the latest Beta version of VVP as its most likely that VWS is now using the new LOOP2 data
