Anyone know anything about the weather station Ambient is selling under their own name?  They show it as being out of stock, priced at $99.

Just curious if anyone has tried it and if it is supported by VWS.

I tried searching for it in this forum, but couldn't find anything on it.

It was only released on March 31, 2010.  Looks to be a white labeled version of a WH1080 Watson Wireless station.  Looks like Ed put his logo on it, and re-wrote the manual.

Interestingly it ships with Cumulus vs vws.

So no it does not support VWS, and I doubt anyone has tried it given its short tenure.  But if you read this thread at cumulus, many people have a similar station.

A revamped 23XX?   Probably a good deal for the money.  I'd be curious to know if anybody has got one yet and how they like it.  Also, the description says the console is battery operated.  Is there a wall wart input available or is it strictly battery operated?

Spitting image of a Zephyr PWS-1000TD and there have been members posting on here with these. The photo of it in Amazon is actually the same as here.

I beleive this is the answer to my thread on the Prowler WH-1082. It appears that the units are the same. Sellers are just putting their band name on them.
