This was taken this year in august around 3PM in the city nearby while Tornado Sirens were sounding. The wife was caught out in it and snapped them with her cellphone and sent them to me. She did not see any rotation at the time.

These were taken out back of our home in June 2007 at about 5PM in during a big storm that was heading our way. The exposure time was about 40 seconds. I was using a Canon Rebel Digital Camera with a tripod and remote trigger (to keep the shakes out of the picture).

Picture of the storm approaching. The security light that was across the way near the front of the house softly illuminated the two pet graves of Darius our wolf, and Merlin our Miniature Pincher. The time lapse allowed the crosses to be illuminated. I hadn't even noticed the crosses during shooting, too nervous about the lightning. I seem to attract that stuff!  Shocked

Sorry about the size, I'll make sure future ones are smaller.

Ron,
Those are some great photos! The two crosses on the pet graves give the lightning a very eerie feel  Anxious Pray Anxious.  It's hard to believe sometimes how good pics are from cell phones.
