I added some more pics today that the wife took this morning.  There was really interesting ice crystals all around.  You can take a look at my additional photos at http://s266.photobucket.com/albums/ii256/sam2004gp/Family%20Pics/Feb%202010%20Snow%20Storm/

Notice the ice crystals in these three photos.  You can even zoom in on them my going to the link above and selecting the pic.
Here is one right below our mailbox, after the temps reached a low of -6.3 overnight.

There is a landscape floodlight about 2 feet down in the hole, that was on all the night before.

Gotta love the frost  Dancing It's amazing the designs they make , it seem as though the colder it gets the better they are , thanks for sharing the great pics.

Do you get any wind reading or is it frozen?

Is the snow depth in inch?

Lars, the Anemometer was frozen until a little past noon on that day.  By then the frost was no longer neat to look at it.  So I took a long pole and gave it a tap to get going again.

Yes that measurement was in inches. We just had another 6 inches over the last 24 hours.  So now for the winter season we have a total of 64 inches or 163 centimeters.
