Hi,

I just got a new desktop that I'm running windows 7 on. Ever since, my WMR200 will stop communicating via my USB. I have checked power setting on the usb and have them set to never turn off or hibernate. Plus I have the station running into the usb ports on the desktop, and a webcam going through a hub. The webcam continues to update even when the weather station stops. I almost acts like it just freezes the uploading of new data.

To get it running again, I must close Weather display, V10.37f, build 15, plus close VWS then start them back and it will start uploading as normal. I don't have to do a restart on the PC, just close and restart the applications so I'm not thinking it is a usb issue. The data on weatherundergound's graphs will be out of whack during the time it wasn't uploading. This will also happen if I'm using the PC or may have been away for 4-6 hours.

Everything appears normal on the base unit of my station and it is updating great from my sensors. Plus I have new batteries in everything.

Thanks for your help.
Johnnie

I would start by updating VWS to 14.01 p00.  This is the most recent version and seems very stable with Win7.
