Don't know mate. It should refresh on opening and also every minute.

it works perfectly for me at home and at work.

Do you get an option about macros when you open it?

You are using excel to open it?

Can someone else try please?

I just downloaded it again, and it continued to show 7:36 Saturday, January 16, 2010

I get a security warning "Some active content disabled".  To fix that, as far as I can tell, I must enable all external data connections for all sites.  Perhaps I could figure out how to do it for just your site.

After doing it for all sites, and then enabling macros, I do see the correct time, and it does auto-refresh every minute.  So, it works.

As a practical matter, it's not usable from my system.  I don't know whether that's the "fault" of Windows 7 or Excel 2007 or ??????

Thanks Dale - I am viewing it now in Excel 2002 and it is working a treat!

It works on the school system also (so potentially 2000+ of the most likely users) so I wonder what % of people outside the school cannot use it easily?

I suspect you'll eventually find out, if you advertise the availability to parents, etc.

I just don't have the time to investigate whether it's Windows 7 or Excel 2007 or some combination.  But I note that you can't easily buy a Windows PC today without Windows 7, and Office 2007 is the current version (with Office 2010 in Beta).  Eventually your school system will upgrade.

Isnt' this fun?
