I was looking at some assorted web pages and came across this one:

There are some amazing hints on that page.  If  you haven't seen it already and you have a 968, it is worth the time to look at it.  I am particularly interested in making me a booster antenna for the  122 I use now (although the radiation shield might be a problem).

I made one of these for a THC268 and it seems to be working great.  Had an old TV antenna.  It only took one element to make it.  Very quick and easy.  I don't have a way to measure signal strength other than a working sensor.

I highly recommend it if you're having problems.
