Surprised  Aha!  I knew it!  Exclamation
I was sure there was a Rainwise user somewhere.

As I thought....rugged and reliable.
Just as my inspection of the quality construction revealed.

Ten years!  Good for you...that's awesome.
Could never say that about my OS WMR 968...more like ten months

Good reply...
Thanks,
 Cool

If you think you're going to get away with only 10 months of problems, think again!   d'oh!

Last week, my VP2+ got wet and I took everything down and ran the parts through the dishwasher.  Yesterday's rain soaked it again.  So my wx station is offline again.  Today, I'll dry it out and use the caulking gun to close up and make it air tight.  This is a minor fix and not worth putting the VP2 wired online.

What happened?  Rain water leaked onto the ISS board?

After reviewing the features and overall package, I would still go for a Davis VP2 PLUS with all the sensors and 24 hour FARS.

The Rainwise looks nice, but I think the Davis is an overall better deal.
