This board has embedded web cam drivers/software to configure images and rate  of image transfer via ftp to website server.  I have 2 identical boards, identical OS (WinXP sp3)
and both boards HANG after accessing server transmitting still image, and then won't disconnect from server to end transmission.  Using NetWork Solutions as hosting server.
Any suggestions on how or where to trouble shool.  All board drivers are up to date and confirm installed and boards w/o conflicts, etc in Device Manager.
Have contacted support at Winnov and after confirming not a board problem, have washed their hands of problem.  I keep stressing maybe it is firmware problem on the board but they deny that could be a problem.  I assume the live.jpg image just keeps getting overwritten in the folder at the server.

What kind of cam are you using with it?  Have you tried an alternate site to upload (rapidshare etc.)  What are you doing that you need an add-on card for still JPGs?

I've got one of those Winnov cards it in the junk pile it the biggest piece carp I ever put in my weather computer. It would just screwed up (had another word letter typed in but removed it) VWS  Embarassed sometime you can just kick your self for not keep certain detail but who would of know that the other debunked weather forum would go away. As I remember it would screw up the menu. Sorry just can't remember the work around it was on the other forum  d'oh!

Thanks mmorris.  After (2) of these capture cards going south...I agree...JUNK.   When they were first installed (new) worked fine for several months and they began to hang showing connection to server and data transmission but unable to disconnect ftp from server to allow another timed sequencial ftp at selected interval later.  I worked with Winnov for days to try and solve problem but once they confirmed board worked properly (whatever that means), blew me off.  I still feel it is an embedded firmware problem with the board where the WebCam applet is not working properly.

What board have you found to work well and ftp program using with it?  Thanks for comments.
