UV sensor on Vantage pro
«
on:

Does anyone know whether the VP2 uV sensor bought in the US would work in the UK. I know the radio frequency of this VP2 :-|station will not work, but if I bought just the sensor would I have any problems?
Thank you
Rob in the UK

The sensor just plugs into the ISS mother board. If you have a UK ISS then there is no problem. The sensor is just a sensor, no intelligence or RF to it at all. If you don't have an ISS at all then the sensor will be useless. You need an ISS to send the UV info back to your console/envoy or with DataLink to your pc and whatever weather software you have. This is not a stand alone sensor.

Rob.
By the time you have paid the import tax and freight charge, it could be just as cheap to get it from Prodata or Ukweathershop.
Take a look at the link below.
It's a link to another forum I hope the mods don't object.
