I see a lot of questions from mackbig and I am wondering is CWOP a North American program? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question.

The "active" list of cwop members shows 8615 members. 216 are in Canada 6915 are in the US. So it appears that 1700 are other (23 in Mexico, forgot they were in NA for a second...)
I think anyone can sign up, but the QA is only done on north american stations.

Yup, he is one of the 1700 "others", but I dont know what my excel formula was calculating (did not add back Cdns), cause I just used a calculator, and its more like 1484 others. Andrew DanS has a CWOP ID from Thailand.

Yesterday I went back to the CWOP section that talks about using the MADIS QC function. It does mention that it is only used in North America but you can try and sign up anyway and you probably will just get an error message. So I went ahead and signed up anyway and still, a day later, no message of any kind. Internet lately has been really bad over here so it's a good test to see if the QC thing works for international members.

That is one of the handiest resources I've seen on the web. I have used it several times and have it bookmarked. I've just added the link to the sidebar of my website. Thank you for providing this service!

Yes, for "outside the USA", but we fall into the 51st state category (north america) as far as QC goes.... "Philip, CW0003, operates an on-line analysis and display system of the MADIS quality checking results for registered CWOP stations located in North America" Andrew Has anyone experienced qc on their Cwop data and lives outside the usa? Uk in particular?

I have asked this question before and I think the answer is no. The green thumb only applies to the US and Canada. I have been registered with CWOP for two years and have never seen it. Alan.
