I lived for years with my wired Weather Monitor II and loved it. Then I caught a Weather Echo Plus on eBay. The deal was too good so I bought it even though I had no ConsoleLink transmitter. I spent almost a year looking at it until I caught a ConsoleLink on eBay. Another great deal. Just like that I was wireless. Yippee! Then I found a deal here on the "For Sale" forum for a Vantage Pro and a Weather Echo. Bought them both and now I am a maniac!! I got weather all over the house. And it all started with the WMII which is still the backbone of everything and working great.

It's in NJ  Dancing

I do wonder though why it's less than 100 miles away and yet it's going to take another 2 days to get here  Question Question

Mine is in Hodgkins Ill and has been for a couple of days! Scheduled date is  Dec 7 but if they would move it it could be here much quicker.
Knowing my luck the brown mule will break down somewhere and mine will get misplaced in the shuffle Confused

I believe that our brain cells are somehow very sensitive to pressure changes which in turn brings on what is know as "WGAS" (Weather Geek Aquisition Syndrome)!!  This is very serious.  It is generally not a fatal problem except for the UPS guy who suffers a stroke due to having to deliver so many packages Boo hoo! Pray.  There is no treatment but symptoms can be relieved by buying a weather related item.  A support group like this one we are on is vital to the well being of those stricken with Weather Geek Aquisition Syndrome Shocked Shocked d'oh! Brick wall Brick wall  WARNING: Do not abruptly quit attaining Weather related items all at once Shame on you Shame on you.  Serious side effects have been reported by numerous sufferers of this problem Drool Sick Sick Sick.  You should be slowly weaned off aquirering equipment and should report to fellow sufferers on this support group.

Bobby, you're as bad as I am with trackings!  Laughing

Then, when it says "Out For Delivery", I'm like a caged cat! Bad thing here is it goes "Out" at about 7AM and never gets here until 6-8PM...

OUT FOR DELIVERY !!  Dancing Laughing

Just got mine on 11/17. I too was surprised at the size. The good thing for me is that I seldom have to wait for delivery once I see "out for delivery". I just got down to the UPS sort facility and pick my stuff up first thing in the morning! Works well when I'm getting auto parts so I can get my day going with the needed parts ASAP.

Sheesh! Already, you're using it the wrong way. You supposed to be holding the anemometer and spinning the cups, watching it change on the console!  Laughing

Uhhh, I have been found guilty of that so many times myself.  Even the wife has noticed me doing that before, and wondered why I was doing it....
Here is another hint/idea, try a leaf blower to see if it really gets up the speed the info on the box claims.

When I got mine I tested it on the two fans we have to see which one had the higher wind speed.  Also spent more than a few minutes blowing on the cups to see if could match the two fans Embarassed Embarassed!
