I live in Skofja Loka which is over 1000 years old town and is one of the oldest towns in Slovenia, Europe. I get my VP2 in July 2009, it is european version. My station is located on my backyard.

Well that looks like a fine location site, open area away from large trees and other obstacles and over grass.  You are lucky to have such siting conditions.  Smile

I don't buy it! You PhotoShopped the Davis onto a beautiful postcard, didn't you!  Laughing  Laughing

1,000 years old and it still looks like that? That's incredibly beautiful. If that was in the USA, it would be a WalMart and 400 condos around it...

That 2nd photo has a great perspective. Very cool.

Dejan,
I hate to be pickie on such a beautiful setup, but here, in the United States, our installation instructions are for the anemometer arm to point North, and the Solar panel to point south. Your's seem to be 90 degrees to each other.
What's going on?

George,
You have completely right and you obviously have eye like a hawk. This picture was taken in first days of setup and my installation knowledge was very low. When I read the instructions I realized that I have wrong anemometer position. Now, they are on the right positions, Solar panel to point South and anemometer arm to point North. I will post new photos in the future.

That is adjustable, you can if you need to change the direction on the anemometer. A little screw to loose and you can adjust it, but be careful if you do this and now what direction you have were you are and on the anemometer.
Mine i had to adjust so the arm pointed almost south so it should point out from the house over the roof. That's because it was the best position to set it, in the south side of the house.

I just want to say that I have no problems with my weather station since setup.
The VP2 is running like swiss clocks. Simply perfect.
