I just saw a weather report saying those of us who live in southern Illinois can see up to 2" of rain of Friday!!! The NWS hazardous weather outlook statement is also saying we are going to probably see a lot of rain with a few isolated severe thunderstorms. May be a system to keep an eye on since our area is known to flood here and there.

Shawn,
Wow, that is something to keep our eyes on for sure.  I hope it doesn't come near us in NW Ohio.  I hope the rain is not as heavy as predicted.

1.64 and still raining.  Not all that bad, but it's been raining some all day.

From looks of local radar, a heavier little batch is about here.

1.65 raining cats and dogs, only 0.16" in last 15 minutes.

1.66.  ack.  it keeps changing as I type.

Hey Joe,
I live in Iuka and we ended up with 3.85 inches over the last two days.
Not as bad as it could have been and certainly not as bad as some areas in Missouri that saw over 9".
It was sort of fun to watch the storms roll through on Grlevel3 but I'm still happy that it's over. There's only so many clouds I can take at one time.
