Early morning thumbnails at noon on webcam page?

Anyone else seeing this?

My images on the default page (NOON) are all dated 5:00:05 AM instead of noontime.

I emailed Wunderground and they said that they would fix it, but two days later, it is still not fixed.

My camera thumbnails are working fine here, hmm.   Maybe send them another email, also check/change your jpg encoding settings or file size, they may help to fix the issue.

Hi Sam,

I just did.  Nothing on my end has changed as far as image formats etc.  It is all automated.  They acknowledged that there was a problem and that the fix would take some time to roll out, but I think something is still whacked on my page.  The current day is correct until the next day comes, then it changes to 5:00:05 AM.    Previous months are all normal.

Hmm, perplexing this is.

It is odd and it is still broken.  One minor change in the behavior is that the 17th is working instead of going black and only showing the 5AM image at noon.

I am hoping that this isn't the "FIX" they were talking about since that would mean that they have lost a good portion of my webcam history for September! 

Wunderground has been doing a lot of odd things lately.

One thing you have to keep in mind with WU. It is a free service and needs to be treated as such. You know, you get what you pay for. Do not rely on it for anything important. It isn't a solution for data backup and archives. The only way to be sure things are safe and correct, is to do it yourself.

Yeah, it sucks, but that's really the way it is. So, in a nutshell, if it's important, don't rely on WU.
