Congrats Henry!  But... Don't be too surprised when the RED X and/or Yellow Question Mark returns someday.  Wink

CWOP's MADIS system has some serious accuracy problems of its own. Confused

Just stay focused on the TWO THUMBS UP.  That is the ONLY part of the QC ratings that actually matter, because those indicate your actual MADIS viability.  The "THING" that hovers above those two thumbs are a not so well executed "addition" by the guys over at CWOP, and it could use a QC system of its own.   Laughing

I speak from experience.  Wink

Here is mine:

Here is a neighbor .7 miles away with the same exact station:

A couple of weeks ago, I had the RED X and he had the Green Check Mark.  Rolling Eyes   We live up here in the Sierra's so our temps are much harder to give a "blanket" range too, so you may have less of a problem with this than we do up here.  Just don't loose any sleep over this if things change on your QC page.  Very Happy

Smile  Roger that one, Weather Goose.
I've noticed that from time to time...two thumbs up is what we should strive for.
Yesterday, I had that red "x" on my dewpoint reading.
I think my accuracy now is darn good.
Hooray!!  Very Happy

Darn good is right!  Your barometer looks right in the pocket!  That is the thing I see most "OFF" with a lot of the CWOP stations I have checked out.  I am proud of the fact that I usually have a 0.0 error with MADIS most of the time.

I have had dewpoint problems a lot this summer too.  They tell you to ADJUST your dewpoint sensor!  Guess they don't realize that the Davis VP2 does not have a separate dewpoint adjustment.  Confused  Not that I would anyway, since it is their flawed system that has the problem with THEIR DEWPOINT!!  Laughing

 Applause Applause  Good Job!!!!
Lets just hope it stays that way Very Happy
Seems like for me the big red X pops up when I least expect it .. but I think my addition of the "birdhouse aspirated FARS" has helped me consistency wise a great deal!

Congrats on the good marks!
