Is using Mac WL USB worth it

I just got a Vantage Pro with Mac software and USB.

Obviously the Mac version is outdated and a bit broken and the USB mode is probably not as stable as the serial.

I'm about ready to switch to serial and Windows rather than deal with the multiple challenges of what I have now.

I can go either way hoping to stay with Mac but sometimes you have to pick your battles!

Thoughts from others who have gone down this road appreciated. Maybe it will save others some time and money.
