I think it's just Microsoft propaganda.  But here's the story.

Well i suspect it is just because it comes with new computers and not many are gonna throw it away for someting else.

I have three computers running it for that reason. But, it still frustrates me that it will not let me share everything.

Uh, does the opening word "MASHABLE" inside the parentheses possibly 'hint' at a humorous inuendo?

Sharing is very easy in Win7. Are you running Pro or Home ? Are all machines in your HomeGroup ? I am able to share data back and forth through all 3 of my computers and 2 laptops.

It will not share everything across the network. There is no way I have found to share a whole drive and not have to go threw and selet individual files and folders, and it still refuses to share some files.
Its my computer and my files I don't see why it will share everything.

Something is clearly wrong in permissions as you can easily share a whole drive.  I do that all the time for network backup.
