  Think Think Think  I am not 100% positive by anymeans but I am leaning towards it being real.  The rumbling thunder after the initial crack seems real.  Very Interesting as they used to say on "Laugh In".

looked like a discharge off the ignition coil..  I think Binky is more fried than shocked

I say real.  No real point to making a fake like this.   You could have set it up much better if you were "making" a movie.  You can also hear a car alarm or something going off for a few seconds after the clap.

if you pause and go frame by frame, you can see the white over powering the camera from up and beyond the bike

a close strike sounds like that.,...like a shot gun going off

I say real also.

I was about that far away once (inside a building, thankfully) when an even bigger flash hit a transformer at our apartment complex.  (That one set off car alarms too.   Rolling Eyes

Lightning that close does sound just like that.  In fact you will have already reacted to the crash of the thunder before you actually notice the flash.

This guy was a more blasé about it than I would have been.  I don't think I would have been standing outside with a camera talking about it while it was still thundering.
