Hi All -

Thought I would post some lightning photos from the past week from around the Phoenix valley. Has been a fairly active pattern with a number of good photo/video opportunities.

Taken July 10 in Chandler:

Taken July 11 in Mesa and Queen Creek:

Excellent shots, Matt!  Cool

There's still plenty of monsoon season left, so I'm looking forward to more great pics.

Thanks guys, and yes plenty of rain with some of these. Parts of town (especially Chandler, Gilbert and portions of Mesa) were completely flooded. Even closed down one of the major freeways here for a bit due to flooding.

And sure wish I could send some your way!

Nice photos Matt you been lucky there in the East Valley the monsoon made a appearance up  here in the North part of Valley  it has been dry and dusty did get a some of that lightning show last Wednesday Night most of it was SE of here and the weekend storm was a east valley event. It did not help that a low pressure was off California sending everything in a SW to NE direction... My monsoon total is only 0.24 inches  Sad even last  year was better  d'oh! I had 1.10 inches by this time in the Summer of Dust.
