...unseasonably cool weather for Mississippi.

Even though we are entering the fifth day of June, and areas in the southeast and mid-south should certainly be getting into the lower 90s, the weekend appears to be a sneak preview of Autumn or perhaps a sequel to Spring time. Sunny skies, low humidity, and temperatures that will struggle to even crack 80 is what we have in store for us after a cold front pushed through the region today. It is highly unusual to see such a set up for our region this time of year. While it is rare, I don't think very many of our area's populace will be complaining about the respite from "Old Man Summer" (we hardly ever see his brother, and believe this one is far more crotchety.)

Up here in Michigan we are still seeing frost and freeze warning many nights with highs well below average. One difference here is that many ARE complaining.
