I recently added a cheap webcam to my front page. Mostly just to see if I could get it to work. Not much to see in my front yard and not fringe on the neighbors. But have a view of the street in front of my house. Looking south and not a very good view to any weather/sky conditions. (Sigh) Like I said, it's a cheap (42USD) camera. Using Where's James (?) software. I would like to improve on it someday, but don't really have a good view in any other direction at my place, so much too much value in having it. I might try video someday and turn it into a "neighbors-who-walk-their-dogs-to-crap-in-other-peoples-yard" camera. Yeah, I realize that. It used to be just a "404" screen until I found that goofy dog thing posted in the forum here. Someday, I'll get around to actually putting stuff in those two links... someday. Took me a good year before I actually put a 'Contact' link in there. So far, I keep hearing John Fogerty singing in the background - "Someday never comes..."  |

Lars, Here's the link for my webcam. The view is to the SW and shows the Carson Valley in Minden, Nevada. Lake Tahoe is just over the ridge to the west. I am located about 40 miles south of Reno.
