Best servers for uploading data
« on: June 15, 2019, 12:22:00 PM »
Currently I'm using cwop.aprs.net 14580 to upload weather data to the server but it seems to be hit and miss on the other end. Sometimes 20 plus minute lag even though it transmits the data to the server. Any other server address(s) appreciated.

Thanks,
tweatherman

I've been having pretty good luck with cwop.aprs.net since CWOP-3 server was fixed. Sending to cwop.aprs.net gets randomly forwarded to one of these 7:
CWOP-1 thru CWOP-7 not in order:
44.155.254.4
85.188.1.27
129.15.108.116
129.15.108.117
63.251.153.99
137.26.70.99
66.151.32.203

You could try direct sending to one of these. Where do you see the lag? I checked my MesoWest station and it looks to be within 5 minutes https://mesowest.utah.edu/cgi-bin/droman/meso_base.cgi?stn=F3280. There seems to be a number of the findu links down like http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/raw.cgi?call=FW3280 but data is still making it to MesoWest.
