Weatherstem
« on: June 01, 2019, 04:58:16 PM »
County put one of these a mile away from me.
Will be nice to be able to compare data.
Only issue is security. They put it about 20 ft off the road behind a 3 board wooden fence.
All someone has to do is go under fence and remove it. Not very smart on their part unless they are going to enclose it in some kind of structure. Going to drop them an email and let them know.
Also with the station comes a webcam that sits atop a 100ft fire tower. That is a nice view and one I'll accessing frequently.
Here's a pic of the station
And one of the cam.

Nice view from the tower! Do you know what model camera they're using?

No info on the camera on the site page.
I suppose if I dived in further on their homepage there may be some info.
