this morning there were moon dogs.  Large rainbows around the full moon.  Unfortunately, I did not have a camera.  I am going to look around the web and see if there are pix.  Maybe I will get lucky and it will happen again tonight.

Funny how different people's minds work.

Here's what I thought of when I saw the word moon dog:



That's The Moon Dogs Rex (r) and Spot (l) from parts unknown (Spot was the runt of the litter).  That's Jimmy Hart in front of them.  Back when wrestling was real.

The station is near my school- the weather people are very good and not alarmists.
